Oakland Port Workers in gathered solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement at the Oakland Port for May Day. The workers and their allies, numbering around 500, marched from the port to Oscar Grant Plaza where family members of people killed by police and other community leaders addressed a large crowd.
The march reaches Oscar Grant Plaza, where residents use chalk to leave a large message in solidarity with Baltimore.
The Black Lives Matter rally at Oscar Grant Plaza included a performance by a group of Native American dancers.
