Madison School Board policy limits military visits to three a year. But guidance counselor David Hoppe, who oversees military visits, said he didn't know about it until afterward. East High School junior Allysa Roedl, 16, chose not to participate. She said the Marine recruiters had students do exercises such as push-ups, and she said they yelled at students 'totally Marine-style.'
