Sonya Soni is a community organizer and policy advocate confronting the structural violence of the child welfare and juvenile justice systems domestically and internationally. She serves as the Advocacy Program Director at the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research, founded by Dr. Ibram X. Kendi. She is a Public Voices fellow of The OpEd Project and The National Black Child Develop Institute.
