Moira Marquis is the co-editor of Books Through Bars: Stories from the Prison Books Movement, the lead author of the report Reading Between the Bars: An In-Depth Report on Prison Censorship and has worked with prison books programs for more than fifteen years. She has a Ph.D. in literature from UNC Chapel Hill and her writing can be found in LitHub, The Hill, Science Fiction Studies and Resilience Journal, among others.
