Maxine Lowy is a journalist, translator, and human rights activist who has lived in Santiago, Chile, since 1990. Her writing focuses on human rights, historic memory, and social issues of Chile. "Memoria latente: una comunidad enfrentada por los desafíos de derechos humanos en Chile," published in 2016, is her second book.
