Gregory Powell is the author of the poetry collections Tin Ear and the forthcoming Shotgun-House Guitar. He serves as associate minister at Mt. Ennon Baptist Church in Bowie, Maryland, where he routinely leads protesters to march on Congress for social justice and civil rights.
