Anis Shivani’s recent political books include Why Did Trump Win?, Confronting American Fascism, and A Radical Human Rights Solution to the Immigration Problem. He is the author of many critically-acclaimed books of fiction, poetry, and criticism, such as Karachi Raj: A Novel, Soraya: Sonnets, Anatolia and Other Stories, A History of the Cat in Nine Chapters or Less: A Novel, and Literary Writing in the 21st Century: Conversations. His work appears in many leading literary journals, newspapers, and magazines. He is a Pushcart Prize winner and a graduate of Harvard College.
