As the Obama Administration comes to a close and prepares to take its place in history, let’s look at some measures of its performance.

How did No. 44 do?

Wow. You sure can cherry-pick

You sure can cherry-pick numbers. When I started reading, I thought it would be a newsworthy story of Obama successes, backed up by numbers. Instead, it's an editorial with misleading numbers. Most categories use some sleight-of-hand to paint a desired picture. Corporate profits? Compare worst quarter of Bush vs. best quarter for Obama. Standard of living? Don't cite actual measures, instead cite perceptions from polls. Deportations? Don't mention that Obama redefined "deportations" to include returns with removals. Another metric you might have included as a measure of Obama's performance might have been how many Democrat Senators, Representatives, Governors, and state legislatures at the end of his term as compared to the beginning.
