We just got our latest issue back from the printer, and it has a beautiful cover of Cindy Sheehan on it.
Inside is the fascinating interview that David Barsamian did with her.
Among the many controversial things she says is: "George Bush has made the Christian faith an obscenity."
And Cindy confides to David that "just waking up and getting out of bed after you've buried a child is almost too much to ask one person to do."
I hope you enjoy this interview, and please share it with your friends.
I'd also like to recommend Ruth Conniff's web exclusive, "Taking On the Chickenhawks." She talks about "the sacrifice gap" between the soldiers, who are risking all, and the Administration, which is playing games.
As always, I appreciate your feedback.
Sincerely,
Matthew Rothschild

P.S. I'm off to Omaha for a talk this Thursday night, Feb. 23, on "The Case for Impeachment." So if you know anyone in the area, please direct them to Dodge Room A of the Milo Bail Student Center on the University of Nebraska-Omaha campus. I start at 7:00 p.m., and I finish when I get hoarse.
