Chris Beck is an architect and writer. He currently works at Bernheimer Architecture, where he is a member of both the organizing and bargaining committees in the recently formed BA Union. He also teaches and studies at The New School. His forthcoming book, The Labor of Architecture: Design, Creativity, and the Building of a New Class Consciousness, will be published with Monthly Review Press.
