Dear friend:
I just got back from Nebraska, one of the reddest of the red states.
Last Thursday, I spoke to a hardy group of 95 progressives in Omaha on “The Case for Impeachment.”
Their response suggests to me that this demand for impeachment will only grow, as will the opposition to Bush’s Iraq War.
Bush’s popularity is plummeting, as this week’s CBS News poll shows. I’ve analyzed the numbers there, and in a Zogby poll, in a fresh posting on our website. The poll results should encourage you.
And I’d like to recommend Ruth Conniff’s “Fat Tuesday for Profiteers,” which discusses the cronyism that is so rampant in the Bush Administration.
At last, the tide may be turning on this crowd.
Here’s to peace—and impeachment!
