Thank you Father Berrigan.

Thank you Father Berrigan. You were right about the Zionist entity called Israel which since at least 1947 have committed countless atrocities against the ethnic peoples of Palestine. So very sorry I did not understand when you spoke of it in 1973. But today there is a new awareness of this tragedy that seems to be linked to just about every other war and mayhem in the Middle East. Thank God that the world, especially in the U.S. people have become aware of this world problem and are doing something about it by Boycott and Divestment of Zionist influence and products.

Thank you Daniel Berrigan.

Thank you Daniel Berrigan. You were a modern-day saint. What you said about Zionist Israel is ever so true and more so today. At one time in my life I defended the Jews per se, as my father constantly pointed out how some in that group had morphed into Zionists who constantly violated the laws of various nations and how cruel they were to the Arab Palestinians. I did not know and refused to even listen, that is, until 1983 with the murders of about 1,000 by the Phalanges and the IDF, then later and thereafter. I visited Gaza in 2009 and in Palestine proper in 2011. And I was stunned at how I saw the European-born and foreign Zionist Jews in Israel treated the Palestinians. Thank you Father Berrigan and forgive me for not having paid attention to your call about this in 1974.
